Silverlight 3 on XBox 360

image Scott Guthrie earlier today twittered about a sneak peek shown today of Silverlight 3 running on an XBox 360.  I’ve been waiting a long time for this and I really hope that the XBox platform will be able to take advantage of some of the opportunities that Silverlight has to offer.  I’d really like to see the XBox opened up into a more flexible app server, as well as having access to the rich variety of online games that Silverlight already offers.  It’s a definite win.

Finally a reason to dust off the old xbox360. When I bought it, they were saying it offers limitless possibilities etc. and as it turned out, all it did offer was a handful of games. And that became pretty boring pretty soon.

Now it's like my gaming machine got a 2nd chance, let's hope she won't waste it ;)

So finally xbox360 starts being the multimedia platform they said it would be. Great, finally it's worth buying!

Xbox since its launch has brought news that has me surprised. And one of them went to see Silverlight running on the Xbox. I still think that Microsoft will bring more news on this year 2010!
